Find quick answers to common questions about Sharon Lodge No. 327 and Freemasonry.

What is the Freemasonry?

Generally Freemasonry (or Masonry) is one of the world’s oldest and largest secular fraternal organizations, whose members are concerned with moral and spiritual values. The Fraternity aims to unite men of differing beliefs into a harmonious and productive community through the application of Masonic moral values and the practice of benevolence, intellectual development, and mutual respect. The necessary prerequisite for acceptance into the Masonic fraternity is the belief in a Supreme Being and membership is open to men of all races and religions who profess belief in deity and are of good repute.

How can I join Sharon Lodge No. 327?

As Masons, we do not recruit members. Instead, men interested in joining must take the initiative to seek membership, either through a Mason they know or by reaching out to a local lodge. One of the best ways to learn more about us is by joining us for dinner before our monthly stated meeting, held on the second Thursday of each month. Dinner begins at 6:30 PM, and you’re warmly invited to share a meal, connect with our members, and explore what Freemasonry is all about.

Can I attend lodge events if I’m not a Mason?

You are welcome to attend any dinner we have before our stated meetings, but you cannot sit in lodge during our meetings. We do on occasion, have open public events that you are allowed to attend.
