Sharon Lodge became a recognized  community resource by bringing the MDCHIP (a cutting edge child identification program), beginning in September 2009.

2010 found the Brethren again reaching out to assist the community.  A program to provide cell phones for victims of domestic abuse and another program to provide holiday cards for Marylanders serving in the armed forces began.
